Challenge Cancer Conference: 2017

Maine Cancer Foundation hosted the second annual Challenge Cancer Conference on May 18, 2017 at the
Hilton Garden Inn in Freeport, ME.*

At the conference, our attendees had the opportunity to:
  • Learn more about what is happening with cancer in Maine right now
  • Network with old and new colleagues
  • Provide input on Maine’s Impact Cancer Network's community plan
  • Share new ideas and lessons learned
  • Plan for how Maine will work together over the next 12 months to reduce the burden of cancer in our state

A highlight of the conference was a presentation by Tim Cowan, MSPH, the Director of Data Reporting and Evaluation at the Center for Health Improvement at MaineHealth. To review Tim's Health Index, an overview of Cancer in Maine, click here for Part 1, and here for Part 2.

We shared the Listening Report and Common Agenda we compiled following months of community conversations held around the state (download here).
